The launch of the acceleration program took place on October 28, 2021 at the French Institute of Rwanda in the presence of the French Ambassador to Rwanda Antoine Anfré and the project partners : NAEB, Vitagora, Rwanda Youth in Agribusiness Forum (RYAF), Youth Engagement in Agriculture Network – Rwanda (YEAN), Rwanda Organic Agriculture Movement (ROAM), Imanzi Business Institute, Private Sector Federation (PSF), European Business Chamber of Rwanda and Park & Pick.
15 Rwandan agribusiness SMEs are joining the GlobalGro Ignition acceleration program. Producers of coffee, avocados, chia seeds, chili peppers, bread, cookies... they will benefit from support to accelerate their development and access export markets.

On this first day, the entrepreneurs presented their activities to the partners and members of the Vitagora network in Europe. For the latter, this event was also an opportunity to discover the Rwandan agri-food ecosystem.
On November 4, the accelerated companies will benefit from their first training session on the theme of business models.
