GlobalGro Ignition is a 6-month program combining training sessions, expert support and mentorship from experienced professionals. It is specifically designed
to help Rwandan agrifood companies to accelerate their development and reach their export goals.
Joint training sessions & individual coaching
2 half days per month for 6 months provided by recognised experts
Month #1-3
Your business: business model / vision / structuring your business ideas
Marketing: segmentation / product diferentiation / connecting to the international value chain
Internationalisation: tapping into new markets / market intelligence reports for your sector / exploiting trade agreements
Month #4-6
Finances and capital: access to funds / business partnerships / digital solutions / investor opportunities
Industrialisation: efficient production / automation / supply chain / logistics / packaging
Program final event:: Demoday to present your projects and products to a panel of professionals and investors
Who can apply?
You can apply if you are
-
a growing SME in the agri-food sector based in Rwanda
and if you:

offer agrifood products or services, or innovative technologies, and you have export activities or ambitions for international development
-
need help to take it to the next level in your development (access to export markets, industrialisation, fund raising,...)
What are the selection criteria?
Candidates will be evaluated on the strength of their written application and their pitch (oral company presentation), according to the following criteria:

The motivation of the team to be supported: clear expression of expectations
in terms of acceleration, ability to interact with other entrepreneurs and with the
acceleration network in a win-win approach. -
The experience and dynamism of the project leaders, the skill gaps within the team
in order to achieve the company future vision. -
The market and the vision: having a clear and long term vision with a goal to answer
to a real economic problem and contributing to the country’s development objective. -
The business model: the ability to finance itself, linking to credits and the
sustainability plan.

How to apply?

Go to the online application form on Google Form.

Once you have answered all the questions, click “Submit”. Be as thorough as possible in your answers as you will be invited to the final selection on the strength of your written application.

If you are selected, the program begins on June, 2022, and will run for 6 months.
