Supporting innovation and competitiveness
of the Rwandan agri-food sector

Led by Vitagora, the French agrifood Innovation cluster, in collaboration with NAEB, and funded by the French Embassy in Rwanda, the GlobalGro Ignition project aims to support the innovation and competitiveness of the Rwandan agri-food sector through improving access for companies to new markets, transforming their offer or mode of production, and developing responses to the agri-food industry's challenges (export, food security, food losses, productivity …). 

In addition to the acceleration program, the project will provide training and coaching to build the capacity of 100 early-stage startups/companies and microenterprises in rural areas and build an innovation ecosystem to enhance business and partnership opportunities for Rwanda’s agri-food sector.
